One category of plugins is to set tags to article and have one general category of users and another PRO category of users. The PRO are going to read all the article, the general onle the FREE parts. Of course the PRO has to pay money per month or year e.t.c.
Another solutions is to make a membership site with few levels of User groups and payments. Like Simple, Silver, Gold.
