How to change the canonical URL

  1. Log in to your WordPress website.
  2. Go to the post, page, or taxonomy for which you want to change the canonical URL. ...
  3. Once you are in the editing screen, go to the 'Advanced' section in the Yoast SEO sidebar or meta box. (google)

Post or Page are by default objects of WP.

In case you want to create a Taxonomy, you must first created and then add the tag.
