wordpress or medium

I heard that blogging through WordPress.com is better than medium.com, but based on my experience, the visits in medium.Com is far better than the first. What is your experience?

• articles to medium
• have a WordPress Blog
• have a social group to Facebook
• and more

The important is who you are and what you want to do. If you have aniche you need to use many platforms to communicate your activity.

Of course medium has big popularity but you need to write in more platforms.
