What are some table types other than a master table and a transaction table?

Well I was a certified Oracle DBA, some kind of tables, If i rememer well are:

  1. the detail tables (Like Order header - order detail, master - slave relation)
  2. the tables of movements (transactions, lets say Invoices, warehouse, billing e.t.c) these add/subtruct to warehouse, or to cash e.t.c.
  3. the linker tables that handle the many-to-many relations
  4. the Binary Content tables (LOB, e.t.c.)
  5. and maybe more
